Organizing youth volunteer services and public welfare activities
SSAM's "Set Sail" Volunteer Service Team organized a series of volunteer activities themed "Our Festivals - Lantern Festival" to support the construction of the "New Era Civilization Practice Center" both at Sunlight Home, Xiaodongmen Sub-district, and at Residents' Clubhouse, Leshan Liuqi Village, Xujiahui Sub-district.
On March 5, the "Lei Feng Memorial Day", SSAM's volunteers from the "Set Sail" Volunteer Service Team came to the Public Welfare Service Club to learn from the contemporary Lei Feng-like people and conduct themed volunteer service activities.
On March 2 ,2022 when the 59th Lei Feng Memorial Day was about to come, the Party Branch of SIG Mansion under SIG Asset Management visited Shengping Community for a volunteer service activity. Party members tidied the garbage collection site and cleaned the bulletin board in the community to make the community environment better. They gave plant fertilizers to the residents of International Garden of Chinese Rose in Shengping Community, and also cleaned the lawn in the Garden.
Upon the arrival of the 44th China Arbor Day, on March 11, 2022. SIG Asset Management visited its subsidiary Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake. Together with the employee representatives from the hotel owner and the management, they planted eight cherry tree saplings.
In mid and late April, upon learning the residents in 7 locations in Shanbei Community under the Bund Sub-strict in Huangpu District needed vegetable bags, Shanghai SITICO Assets Management Co., Ltd. donated 2,000 vegetable bags worth RMB 240,000. The residents were delighted to get the goods and materials they needed urgently during the pandemic.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Communist Youth League of China, the "Runxin" Volunteer Service Team of Shanghai SITICO Assets Management Co., Ltd. had visited the former headquarters of the Community Youth League to provide volunteer service since the beginning of March,including maintaining the order on the site and making explanations, so as to improve the political awareness of Youth League members and fulfill corporate social responsibilities.
In 2022, SIG provided aid worth RMB five million to Situan Town, Fengxian District in the second round of aiding rural areas. Since 2013, SIG has spent 64.13 million in the two rounds of aid to rural areas.
Shanghai State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. carries out in-depth "double 100" village-enterprise pairing to provide accurate assistance and engage in joint Party building. In 2020, thanks to the help from SSAM, Chusui Village in Qiubei County of Wenshan Prefecture in Yunnan Province managed to get rid of poverty. After that, the company has been focusing on industrial revitalization. In 2021, the company spent RMB 560,000 in building the mulberry farm, purchasing equipment for silkworm house, building live studios, buying clothes for people in need, building study rooms, donating materials to the "charity supermarket", establishing the SSAM scholarship, buying agricultural or local products from the impoverished people, purchasing artworks of intangible cultural heritage, donating facilities for the Party Building Service Center in the village in pair, and giving aid to the Party members in financial difficulties in the village in pair. Based on the pairing and aiding, the company continues to visit locations with intangible cultural heritages, with a view to the coordinated development of industry and intangible cultural heritages. It strives to transform the "power on the fingertip" into the power of revitalization and people's well-being, stimulate endogenous circulation with cultural self-confidence, and achieve high-quality regional development.
