CPC SIG Committee has firmly put into practice the important instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping on COVID-19 prevention control, and the decisions made by CPC Shanghai Committee, Shanghai Municipal Government and Shanghai SASAC. Prioritizing epidemic control, and with resolution, we have taken determined measures and rapid actions to shoulder our responsibilities as a SOE. We have played an active role in the overall plan for Shanghai's epidemic control, stricken a balance between epidemic control and corporate reform and development, given full play to the role of grassroots Party organizations and Party members as pioneers and role models, so as to contribute the power of SOAs and SOEs in the campaign against the epidemic.

All Party members of SIG have been organized to make“double signing in” within 24 hours on the “Pioneering Shanghai” platform. As required by Shanghai SASAC, CPC SIG Committee offered a team of 6 volunteers and a backup team of 24 volunteers.To meet the requirements by Shanghai SASAC about providing volunteer support to the centralized isolation points in Shanghai, SIG offered a team of 9 volunteers and a 25-person professional team for security and cleaning. In response to the call of the Shanghai SASAC on mobilizing volunteers for the metro system, SIG offered a 6- person youth volunteer team to provide supporting service for the Jiangsu Road Metro Station. As required by the Organization Department of CPC Shanghai Munici- pal Committee and the Party Committee of Shang- hai SASAC, we offered a 25-person volunteer service commando team dominated by Party members and cadres to support the front line of Covid-19 preven- tion and control. A total of 17 volunteers were sent to the front line. As required by the Organization Depart- ment of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, we offered a 10-person emergency response volunteer commando team to carry out emergency tasks at any time. All cadres and employees have been actively participating in community epidemic control volunteer services. By the date of resump-tion of work and production, more than 28% of the total staff of SIG had worked as volunteers for the epidemic control, with more than 11 times of volunteer services per person. After resumption of work and production, according to Shanghai SASAC's requirement on volunteer services for regular epidemic prevention and control, a routine volunteer service team and an emergency support vanguard commando were established, both of which were composed of young Party and league members of SIG, with an aim to providing volunteer services for epidemic prevention and control, and reserving and reinforcing the frontline forces against the epidemic.

SIG has implemented the principles stipulated in relevant documents from the Central Government,Shanghai Municipal Government and Shanghai SASAC, actively facilitated the enterprise-support-ing policies, strictly executed the policy of reducing and exempting house rents for small and microenterprises and self-employed businesses, strength-ened its responsibility, played an exemplary role, and promoted the rent reduction and exemption of state-owned houses in a thorough, standardized and efficient manner, so as to contribute to epidem-ic control and the recovery and development of economy and society.
